Photos of the Drusillas Park Zoo Zookeeper for the day experience.

Ever since we became members at Drusillas Park Zoo about three years ago our daughter Joanne has been nagging us to let her be a keeper for a day. We finally agreed that she could do it for her 9th birthday and these are some of the photos of that day. It was a really great experience and I would recommend it to anybody. During the day she fed Penguins, Meerkats, Prairie dogs, Coatis, Wallabies, Lemurs, Capyburas and much more, she also got to hang out behind the scenes and help prepare food for the animals etc. It was well worth every penny. Thank you Claire for helping Joanne have such a great day.

Photos of the latest upgrade at Drusillas Park Zoo, they have changed the old train ride into an official Thomas the tank engine ride, complete with themed station and other characters such as the fat controller, James, Diesel and Cranky. We went in the Easter holidays, just a couple of days after it opened and there was lots of other Thomas related stuff going on.
